Hannah Thai Boxer & Photographer Speaks To Us At Diesel Gym 2

Wikipedia says:
Muay Thai  is a combat sport from the Muay Martial Arts of Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This physical and mental discipline which includes combat on foot is known as "the art of eight limbs" because it is characterised by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, shins and feet, being associated with a good physical preparation that makes a full-contact fight very efficient. Muay Thai became popular in the sixteenth century, but became widespread internationally only in the twentieth century, when practitioners defeated notable practitioners of other martial arts. A professional league is governed by the World Muay Thai Council. Having first met Hannah at Claudio Silva's Educar Jiu-Jitsui Seminar at Diesel Gym 2 where she was taking photo's of the event, she was kind enough to agree to do an Interview with us at some point in the future. Well we finally got our acts together and caught up with her and this is what she had to say.

Hannah: I like to achieve the best that I can. Keep training hard and enjoy fighting.

DT: Who is your favourite Mixed Martial Arts fighter?
Hannah: I'm a fan of Joanne Calderwood.  I saw her fight in Bournemouth last year on a Thai show.  It was a great fight, she is technically very good :)  She has also recently made her debut in M.M.A.

DT: When and who is your next fight and how do people get tickets?
Hannah: I am fighting tomorrow at KO Gym, Bethnal Green. Tickets are on the door. 12 pm start. ( That was slightly sooner than we expected)

Hannah: All my trainers, and my family at Diesel.
Hannah and Claudio Silva
DT: Can you tell us about your fights so far. Who you went up against and the results. As much detail as you can please?
Hannah: I've had a few inter-clubs (Thai Boxing). All thus far have been no decision bouts. I've felt reasonably strong in the fights and each time I learn something new. DT: How much training are you doing over a week?
Hannah: At the moment I'm training 5/6 days a week
DT: When did you first know you wanted to start fighting and not just train?
Hannah: Not too long after I started.
DT: And Lastly How old were you when you first got into Mixed Martial Arts?
Hannah:  I was a late starter!
Thanks for taking the time to speak to us and I'm sure our paths will cross somewhere in the future.
