The Jobber Blogger #132 – TNA: IMPACTWRESTLING – 29/10/14

Jobber Blogger logo2How do you end up spending so much time on the Internet?

Yup, we’re going deep into thought this week, so much so that I forgot why that opening sentence was relevant.

Honestly, I don’t spend that long on the internet, not anymore. However! Starting two consecutive sentences back to back with words beginning with “H”. Yes, However, when I do spend some time on the internet, I can spend a lot of time on the internet.

Random search to research business ideas turns into looking for Marvel Mega Bloks, to find that there is such a thing of Assassins Creed Mega Bloks (mind blown with glee!… not the show!) to then go on a tangent on Ninja Turtles.

Annnd then back round again to Writing up this week’s Jobber Blogger.

It’s nearly 9pm and I feel behind. I’m not behind. But I feel it. That’s the key difference…feelings.

How do I feel?

I’m getting philosophical now. And I even spelt it right! Stick that in your jam jar!

I did get consecutive wrong though. Only by one letter, but the real question is that One Letter too many letters too much?

It could be quite possibly, possible,… be.

We’re into November! I nearly said Halloween… but that isn’t relevant anymore. That came and went quicker than money.

Also Deodorant.

Also spelt wrong.

I seem to be a little strange this week, but my Feet are cold and I haven’t had a really big mug of Tea with exactly 3x Sugars, a whole load of milk and some Vanilla Syrup…. drank with a straw.

Yup, that’s how I roll.

MVP and Kenny King vs. Samoa Joe and Low Ki – Tag-Team Tournament – Semi Finals

I’m enjoying this Tag-Team tournament, yet I know some Spoilers up and coming… so I am all levels of confused.

As much as I’d like to get excited about Impact kicking off with a Match… it felt rather rushed.

Boom, match, MVP and King already in the ring. Takes away that opening “Impact” of crowd shots then Entrance Music hitting with a match gearing up. It feels like I’ve missed something when people are already in the ring for the start of the show.

What happened before? How did MVP walk out?

Am I really that interested… no…. but that’s not the point either!

Everything’s got a point!

pencil

See, and you can draw anything with a pencil.

– Well I couldn’t take it any longer and went to get some socks. And my lovely snuggly warm knitted jumper and a cup of tea. No Vanilla.

Sad times.

I feel like I should have given more of an in depth write up about the show, but I’ll just break it down as I go.

Seems to make most sense.

As far as the teams of Joe and Low-Ki and King and MVP, I couldn’t care at all. Neither of them are united as a team. I like my Tag-Teams to feel like a Team, rather than a throw together or pair up. King and MVP suit that better. But for how long?

It matters not as Joe and Low Ki took the win. I wrote down “awesome” and something else I can’t read. My enthusiasm for this match seems to have drifted.

blueline

Bram and Magnus had a bit of a babble. Bram stating he’s “re-writing history” and taking down the Brotherhood of Hardcore.

I like that. I prefer Bram already to most associated with that “Brotherhood”. Also I am so sick of anything involving ECW coming round again in TNA. Done with that.

It only just wrapped with Bully and EC3 and then it’s on again with Bram – Ugh.

Devon then came out and brought out his Good Friend – Tommy Dreamer and I cared even less.

What was interesting about all of this was the wording about Bully Ray from Mike Tenay and Taz. Stating Bully is “healing up” after his recent slew of matches and will be back soon. Which means TNA haven’t paid him to work these set of tapings, but he’s not gone completely from the company. Which is good news.

Bram and Magnus vs. Devon and Dreamer. Let me write that down before I forget how much I cared about that match.

Also if Bram doesn’t win,… I’ll moan a little on my blog no one reads.

After Years and Years of being a fan of TNA, I’m finally a fan of Shark Boy! Oh my Brother! Please keep giving me Videos of Shark Boy out of shape backstage.

Admittedly this one wasn’t as good as the first in his match against Tyrus. But Shark Boy doing a half arsed meet and greet, by himself, shoving Hotdogs in his face. Yup, I’m down with that.

Calling old woman “Old Bags” as he stumbles across for a photograph with her Grandson.

The only downside was Shark Boy being told to sort himself out. “Where’s the old Shark Boy!?” Sure it reeks of TNA’s Stone Cold turn from Heel to face, only to turn on the WWF and defect to WCW. Which was good.

I just hope we get a bit more of the out of shape Shark Boy first.

The Beautiful People vs. Taryn Terrell and Madison Rayne

Yay for Storyline driven matches.

Is it bad that I hoped Madison would just forget about being badly treated by Angelina and just re-join the Beautiful People.

I want her back in the Beautiful People.

This dislike between the new Mum’s – Madison and Taryn is on going, only with Taryn being the face.

I’m not so keen on Taryn, I am a Madison fan though, and she’s better as a Heel. Maybe not so much of her “Queen Bee” waving gimmick.

Madison did all the tricks of being a heel, looking the other way and not tagging in, then just beating her up.

Needless to say The Beautiful People won. I am liking a fued within the Knockouts though which isn’t situated around the Knockouts Championship.

Ethan Carter the Third and Tyrus vs. The Hardyz – Tag-Team Tournament – Semi Finals

I didn’t make any notes, only on who won and how they won.

I look at The Hardyz as the Favourites and also as the losers in this competition. Again, lifelong fan of the Hardyz, love them to bits. But. They’ve lost to the Wolves… once just in a Tag-Team Match, and then during the Tag-Team Series.

So really, if they won, why would that matter? The Wolves will probably beat them again.

This is the thing with this Tournament. Who is really a Tag-Team. I like the entry of everyone in the Tournament, but none of them are a fully fledged “Tag-Team”. Not anymore.

The Bromans – Robbie E and Jesse. They are.

The Wolves.

The Menagerie (sort of).

That’s it.

Hardyz, Team 3D – don’t really count. They sort of drift around and not always on the main roster.

I want a Tag-Team. With their own Entrance theme, matching attire, a proper Tag-Team.

Not Magnus and Joe. Not EC3 and Tyrus, enough of that.

I want a Beer Money, a Motor City. TNA needs more “Tag-Teams” not just teams put together.

The Hardyz took the Win on Tyrus. Despite them being a Team for how many years? Matt went for the Cover as Jeff jumped for the Swanton. Least that’s how it looked. Seemed a rather close call where Matt nearly got splatted by his Brother due to bad timing.

I just thought it was worth mentioning, it stood out to me.

Which leaves The Hardyz vs. Joe and Low-Ki.

Should be an awesome match. I want the Hardyz to win, but I don’t think they will. Mainly because they’ve already lost once.

Who knows.

blueline

James Storm vs. Eddie Edwards

TNA’s on-going worst Storyline since Claire Lynch continues by getting worse.

Now this isn’t to say that the Storyline is utter trash. It’s just the portrayal of it, and that it makes no sense.

James Storm doesn’t fit the role he’s in. Least not fully.

Storm was the top heel, he can build a Revolution by being who he is. This doesn’t feel like the Cowboy, this is like a weird mind controlling Texan, and it just doesn’t suit. The storyline could continue without the cheesyness of “look into my eyes” / “I will show you the light”. That’s the trash.

Have Storm be a powerful character and people gravitating to him because of that. Having shinny X-Division guys in his faction, that makes no sense.

The Wolves are really good, but convincing, they are not, especially Davey.

He’s not that great on the mic, and he being talked into Storm’s faction is worse. Putting tension between the Wolves not even a year into their TNA run is stupid.

And all of a sudden I can see massive potential in Eddie Edwards. Davey’s always stood out to me, but I do think Eddie carries himself better in all areas.

Davey kept getting spoken to by Manik and Storm through-out the match, causing the distraction for Eddie to eat the Last Call Superkick, and Davey didn’t help Eddie.

I don’t want Davey in Storms faction and I don’t want the Wolves to split. That would be incredibly annoying, especially after my rant about the lack of Credible Tag-Teams.

blueline

Bobby Roode vs. Lashley – TNA: World Heavyweight Championship – Kurt Angle Special Guest Referee

Too Fast – would be how I described this match.

You have one chance to do Lashley right, and they missed it pretty quickly and then it’s been a downward spiral.

Lashley, fierce, dominant, goes to war on his own, wins on his own, cleanly.

MVP mouth piece, Kenny King hot head. Worked.

The second Lashley needs help in a match – ruins it.

I didn’t want MVP and King to get involved like they did previously, that made it far worse.

But Lashley was sneaking Low-Blows and Belt Shots. Which I’m not a fan of for a Champion of his caliber.

Don’t get me wrong, if Roode wouldn’t stop, and Lashley couldn’t put him down, then fair enough. But Too Fast comes into play, because it felt far too quick in the match that Lashley was trying to cheat to defeat Roode, without Roode really doing anything to show that Lashley wasn’t in control.

Also having Referees flying around the ring from the slightest of tackle and being knocked down for minutes at a time is one of Wrestling’s dumbest factors, but hey, it works. Replace that Referee with a Wrestler, who gets knocked down even more, and takes even longer to get up. That’s pathetic.

Kurt Angle – Olympic Gold Medallist – 13 time World Champion – sucks.

That’s all it tells me, he seems less injured Moon Saulting off of a 15foot Cage onto the Matt, then he does being slightly ran into by a Wrestler.

It’s all gimmicky crap that ruins what could be a really hard hitting and hard faught Match.

Also this

bobbyroodelashleytnaworldchampionNow I knew Roode was going to win anyway, again – Spoilers. But I didn’t expect him to just sit down from a Sunset Flip into a Pin and beat Lashley so easily.

At first I thought that kind of sucked, but the more I was reminded about Lashley’s Re-Match – the more that makes sense.

See that’s smart booking, Roode barely beating him, but still beating him. This gives Lashley a lot of Room to grow. Now Lashley is on the hunt, and he’s going to be fierce.

Obviously I fully expect Roode to retain, but I’m interested in this Re-match more than I was for this match.

So my favourite World Champion of Recent Memory is now World Champion again.

I’m a Bobby Roode guy through and through, I think he’s the best Professional Wrestler in the business, in terms of all round ability.

I am a Heel fan though. I don’t know if Roode’s World title reign was please me as much with him being Face. I’m sure it won’t last near half as long. Glad he’s not a One Time World Champion though like most of TNA’s roster.

He deserves to hold the belt a lot, so I’m glad he’s back in the picture and happy for him to be the Champ, looking forward to seeing where it goes.

blueline

Another good packed show from TNA.

It’s hard to really say anything. I wasn’t super excited going in, but they put on a great show with great content.

It just feels flat all the same.

Maybe a Title Change Up is what it needs.

Until TNA get a new TV Contract sorted and announced and know where they stand with their Talent and Tapings / Live Television, TNA will continue to feel a flat.

Till then.

Dan Wilkinson.

The Jobber Blogger #131-TNA:IMPACT WRESTLING-22/10/14

Jobber-Blogger

The Jobber Blogger

It’s bad when writing TNA Wrestling as The Jobber Blogger starts to remind me of work… that’s bad right? 131! pfft! It’s not even worth the reference!

It appears that time has drifted on a little from when I started to Write this. Ahh, I’m a wonderfully strange individual. I revel in my weirdness.

So, it appears that people are happy with the current product TNA is putting out. I would like to say that I am also happy with it, they are putting on good television. However, it being taped still taints my impressions.

bootcampWho watched British Bootcamp 2 – Episode 1?

I won’t give it a full write up, but I quite liked it. Last year’s original show was a little too scripted for my liking. It didn’t feel real enough, despite their best efforts.

This time around it’s better, though still a bit odd. It’s like Wrestling meets X-Factor, only they judging panel of Samoa Joe, Gail Kim and Al Snow can pretty much make the contestants to jumping jacks and speak in different languages. OR ELSE!

The “reality” side of the show actually feels more real, so that is a bigger bonus, plus having Spud as a host, Joe, Gail and Snow as judges and also participating, gives the show that much needed credibility edge.

I won’t pretend like I remembered everyone’s name, but the one who stood out to me the most was the Red headed girl. I suppose her hair was rather striking and I have thing for Red Hair.

But I digress.

Nikki Storm (needs a name change), I liked her attitude, and also hated her attitude. It works for a persona, not for a person. Norm, or whatever he was called was easily the top guy there, so glad he’s going through. But I was most impressed with the Red Headed girl, I thought she carried herself well in the ring, perhaps more “shy” than the other two, but I was most impressed with what we saw of her in-ring work than anyone else. So I am glad she’s there. Plus awesome that so far the women are dominating.

I like that.

TNA: IMPACT WRESTLING – 22/10/14

Oh how wonderful life is, when your favourite Wrestling show kicks off with Matt Hardy.

For those who have been reading this long enough might well remember my little rants about a Wee Young Jobber Blogger who would rush downstairs on Saturday mornings at 10am to catch WWF Smackdown on Sky1, in all of it’s edited for morning television glory.

What felt like every week was Smackdown kicking off with the Hardyz, and I loved it. So to have Matt still sticking around in TNA in 2014 and kicking off Impact with a Tag-Team Tournament with both himself and Jeff. Yup, I’m one happy fan!

blueline

The Hardyz vs. DJZ and Jesse

It is a little odd having DJZ and Jesse together without Robbie E. I can see DJZ actually fitting this role of a Broman better without either Robbie E and Jesse and finding someone more “hip” styled rather than Jersey styled.

Jesse works best with Robbie, and actually I think Robbie is awesome on his own.

Little by little, DJZ is creeping up on my favourites list, I’m still not entirely there, but I’m getting there. A huge, vast improvement from the days of Zema Ion with silly hair and hair spray with ridiculous attire. He suits this much better.

The Tag-Teams dominated this week’s Impact, and I have no problem with that. Though I do get a little sick of throw together story developing Tag-Team matches, I love Tag-Team matches with actual Tag-Teams.

So a tournament is right up my alley, and having The Hardyz kick it off with a Win. It’s like going back in time. What a wonderful thing nostalgia is right?

Blind Tag – Twist of Fate – Swanton Bomb – Hardyz pick up the win.

blueline

Low Ki and Samoa Joe vs. Samuel Shaw and Gunner

Speaking of throw together tag-team matches purely to further Story development. We got this match.

I’m unsure of where to stand on it. Like all kinds of on air friendships in Wrestling, they must BY LAW end up turning on each other with a video package stating how close they once were.

RoodeEyBrothers

The interesting dynamic here is Brittany, and more to the point the pairing of Shaw and Brittany, I like that idea.

Clearly Shaw was going to turn on Gunner, it just seemed to happen a little too sudden. A tiny backstage segment between Shaw and Brittany, which was the first we’ve actually seen them together in as any kind of friends.

I suppose this will evolve out into Anderson getting back involved maybe. Who knows.

Brittany grabbed Gunner’s leg who then fell victim to a kick from Low Ki right back into the clutches of Samoa Joe for the choke victory.

Then Shaw went to town on Gunner with a chair.

That right there is the money shot, I’ve never seen that side of Shaw or perhaps anyone sell beating down a guy with a chair as sadistically and deranged like Shaw did to Gunner.

I liked it a lot.

And then the unnecessary make-out rolling around the ring between Shaw and Brittany. Least they literally rolled over Gunner, which made that worth watching from an entertainment perspective.

blueline

Rebel was set to do battle with someone. I don’t remember. Did we even know? Could it have been Madison?

Havok then decided to come out and beat up Rebel. You know, taking out the threats. Like Rebel.

Yes, that is a joke.

HAHA!

Was there really anything to get? I’m not sure, it’s getting late.

Gail Kim then made her return with an injured arm, her own arm that was injured, of course. She didn’t just turn up with some severed arm. That would have been most unexpected.

gail arm

Gail took the fight to Havok and then the TNA guys in the back (and Earl Hebner) had to rush out to break up this fight. How many times have we seen this? I thought the days of security breaking up fights were over, but it appears not.

I suddenly miss D’Lo.

Also why is Earl Hebner always there? He never actually breaks up the fight, he just walks back and forth observing.

blueline

Bram vs. Devon – Hardcore Match

This was scheduled earlier on in the night, but it didn’t go according to plan. Nope guess what, they had a brawl, and the TNA security (and Earl Hebner) ran out to break it up… and pace back and forth…. respectively.

Kurt booked the match, and here we have it. Bram trying to make a name for himself by picking on Hardcore Hall of Famers, now that sounds like a Reality Show waiting to happen… although it might not be about what we would hope… or maybe it is. Maybe the viewer would be the one disappointment.

tnahalloffame

All of this is to continue to build on the foundations of Bram’s success against Abyss, making him a big star, and also the contrast that places between Bram and Magnus… despite the physical contrast.

bramandmagnus

In the end it was in fact Magnus who got involved and attacked Devon from outside the ring which led to Bram picking up the victory. I’m sure this will become “I didn’t need your help to win” territory in no time, and of course right on time for the “They were once like Brothers!” Video package and inevitable grudge match.

bramandmagnus copy

blueline

Mr. Anderson and Chris Melendez vs. MVP and Kenny King

It does amuse me at how little of a beating guys get in a Tag-Team match to make them need to tag out in no time, yet in a singles match, that’s just a scratch.

Anderson was beaten down and controlled though-out the majority of the match, but finally got the Tag to “Sarge”.

See, Melendez is very impressive, I get it. I think he seemed a bit better this week. But he can pull off some amazing sights given his condition, it’s awesome. But then, it’s also given his condition, which makes it a weird kind of territory to be in.

Thankfully the right team won as King had a sneaky roll up with trunks for the Win.

Right after the match however The Wolves did one of the worst “fake” promos I’ve ever seen followed by James Storm doing one of the worst promo’s I’ve ever seen by trying to convince Davey Richards to join his revolution.

I’m sure nothing will come of Storm’s strange medusa prowess on Richards, but say if it did…. it’s only a matter of time before issues between The Wolves began to surface. Then they’d be forced to run the “They Were Once Like Brothers!” Video Package and inevitable grudge match.

Yay for Tag-Teams! gunnerandshawandanderson

Shame this dream will never come true =(

blueline

Ethan Carter the Third and Tyrus vs. Eric Young and Rockstar Spud

EC3 laid out the challenge earlier on in the night to Spud, but it was EC3 who did his best to get Spud fired up for this match.

Spud had his old music again, which was pretty awesome, it’s a cool theme. Only now it meets with his Chief of Staff intro.

It appears as though Spud is now full throttle Face.. another good T-shirt idea.

A new movement of “I’m With Spud”, which isn’t quite how a movement works.

I was under the impression that a movement was something that naturally got started. Now Spud has been gaining a following, but TNA put out the “I’m With Spud” T-shirt quite a while ago. Yes people cheer for him, and yes he’s being turned Face, but that doesn’t make it a movement. The fact your telling me it’s a Movement, which also happens to coincide with the merchandise your trying to sell, makes me think it’s not a Movement at all and your trying to market it to me.

Tyrus pulled out a “Heart Punch” which incidentally was made famous from old school Pro Wrestler – Ox Baker.

I won’t pretend like I knew that before watching this match, but it turns old Ox ol’Pal was in Escape from New York – which just happens to be one of my favourite movies of all time! So big kudos, much respect and RIP!

Spud did an awesome Flip from the Top Rope, then lost the match by being Chokeslammed by Tyrus.

Looking forward to seeing where Spud goes from here and I actually hope Tyrus sticks around.

blueline

TNA ended on the Contract Signing between Bobby Roode and Bobby Lashley for Match #2.

All night there was this big “surprise” which was being thrown around by TNA and Kurt backstage. Just turned out to be that Kurt has made himself the Special Guest Referee.

Which really isn’t all that exciting. Special Ref’s usually are a waste of time. However on the odd occasion having a good “authorities” figure in the ring can make for a memorable match.

I really hope Roode vs. Lashley #2 Delivers.

I’m looking forward to watching it next week.

A good solid Impact, lots of lovely Tag-Team Wrestling and a good show set up for next week!

Till then!

Taryn Terrell vs. Madison Rayne vs. Velvet Sky vs. Angelina Love vs. Rebel vs. Brittany vs. Havok – #1 Number One Contenders Match – Knockouts Championship

Ah hah!

I actually remembered to follow up with my Predictions List! Yes, this makes everything much better and far more entertaining!

Also this happens to be the second time I remember to do it. So yay? The first was when Anderson had the “Committed” match with Shaw. When the hell was that?

No Surrender was pretty good, and TNA has been pretty damn good of late as it is. Even more praise is shooting out the kazoo for their latest Impact Tapings.

So kudos, and kazoodos for kicking off the Televised special with a Wrestling Match! You wouldn’t think it was that hard to get right, would you?

kazoo

I made the prediction that Havok would be the smart money to bet on, I was right. Too bad I went with Velvet huh?

Despite the chances in this match, it was really just to give Havok an exhibition. I don’t dislike her. I like to poke fun with the Disco Bane and Skrillex comments, but hey, makes me laugh. Isn’t that why I write this thing every week, to make myself laugh!? Of course it is.

discobane

Rebel takes a hard landing to the floor rolling down the Steel Steps, despite her not really being ring ready, on the ground of her breaking her arm. She does have a good look and seems to enjoy throwing herself down some steps. So, the future is bright?

However, her doing the splits to dodge, though “different”, highly impractical.

How’s that for journalism.

Havok Won – no face!

blueline

Kenny King vs. Chris Malendez

This was an awkward impromptu match.

Here’s why this annoyed me. MVP and Kenny King headed to the ring to call out Malendez, to then give him this great opportunity of Carrying luggage.

Why was that scripted?

Why waste time with that crap? Malendez needs some work on the mic, but hey, first time. I can let that slide.

Then we immediately hit the territory, just like that. King goes on about how he’s only got one leg, go back to “Boot Camp”, blah blah blah.

Now I’m not going to pretend like I’m offended, because I’m really not. What bugs me is that Malendez gets the sympathy vote, I’m sure that’s the last thing he personally wants. Having someone who is obviously not a fit for the Wrestling business, be written as a Character who is not fit for the Wrestling business, who has people mock him, and then beat the crap out of him.

Why would you sign the guy?

You signed the guy because he’s impressive, because he’s 6ft plus, he has a good look, he’s strict, trained, a War Hero.

Don’t let him be an idiot who casually walks out to meet the bad guy and offered jobs of lackeys, then gets made fun of then beaten down.

The only people that wins over, are those who feel sorry for him. I feel sorry for him, it’s a horrible, horrible accident, but what empowers that, is his stride to overcome it.

What I don’t feel sorry for, is someone getting into the Wrestling business to suck ass at it. Again, I know he’s being Written this way, but how am I supposed to get on board with that, that doesn’t reflect on the sympathy angle where I cheer for him because “He’s very good, given his disability”. When you could have people cheer for him because “He’s Very Good”.

The entire match was Malendez getting the crap kicked out of him by Kenny, till in the end he Managed a roll up and won, then got beaten up even more.

Yay, this guy sucks! Well done TNA on signing someone who sucks, again!

This is my point, you tell me how good he is, you show me clips of how he can wrestle, you put Bully, Devon, Anderson and Kurt’s stamp of approval on him, then you write his character so he sucks and can’t defend himself.

What am I supposed to take from that?

Anderson came to the rescue, so I guess this is a learning curve type of thing. So who knows. But it’s TNA, so I can take a pretty damn good guess.

blueline

Homicide vs. Samoa Joe – X-Division Championship

I’m going to say it, the fact that this match took place, is ridiculous.

Sure, back in the day Homicide was a “guy” in the Division, but he’s never been great. Now you’ve got guys who are great, and they’ve been passed up literally for months to cater to the “Home field” advantage by bringing in crowd favourites to bury your talent.

Wow, you hired this awesome Luchador from Mexico, you’re right, he’s incredible. But he sucks compared to “Blam Blam” Homeboy I can do a freakin flip, Homicide.

He’s not even signed with you. So you use him to bury the guys you have signed to your roster.

Here’s a thought, screw the home field advantage and build your talent.

Guess what, Samoa Joe isn’t from New York, but people love him. Crazy Steve has barely done anything or given any screen time, and they love him too.

People respond to Tigre Uno because he’s so impressive in the ring. Give him the time.

Also lol –

homicideblamblamhomeboyI told you I make myself laugh.

Speaking of things that make me laugh, Tenay and Taz plugged the next round of Impact Tapings by saying “You can see yourself on TV!”

Which is one of two things, or in fact, both things!

Your struggling to sell tickets so you add in the extra boost of people being on TV, which is a poor, poor way to sell your product.

And number two, in a related sense, there will be so little people attending the TV Tapings, that you are Guaranteed to see yourself on Television.

Just saying.

Blam Blam hit a Cutter on Joe and didn’t win, thank fully. I hate the Cutter. But I also Love the Cutter. DDP was the guy, Orton uses it well, Bully pulls it out here and there. It bugs me when people use the same finishes. Least it’s not as annoyed as Taryn using it, but whatever.

The only good thing from Homicide using the Cutter is that Joe countered it into a joke – mid air, and won the match.

James Storm, Sanada and the new Super Manik then crashed the segment.

There is no reason, at all, for James Storm to be re-designing the X-Division as Cultural Luchadores.

My only hope is that Tigre Uno might actually get some better TV Time.

predictwonbluelineThe Hardyz vs. Team 3D vs. The Wolves – Ladder Match

Again, fairly obvious who was going to Win this match.

The first match in the Series, was freakin awesome! The Tables Match, wasn’t as good, still good, just not as good as I had hoped.

But then I always find Tables Match lack. They really aren’t all that exciting unless quite a few Tables are used. Hence my moan at only one member of the Team going through a Table. Which means people have to put themselves through a few tables, or they introduce other weapons to make them more entertaining.

However, Ladder Matches can be fantastic on their own. And also work better with more weapons.

If a match is So Good, you should just watch it.

There’s nothing I can say to do it justice, so just watch it.

This match was awesome, best in the Series so far and I will put into the Match of the Year Nomination, however! I might also take it out given on how good the final match in the Series is, and people are saying IT IS AMAZING!

Super hyped!

Sucks it’s not at BFG though.

The Wolves pick up the win.

predictwonnoface bluelineBram vs. Gunner

This match happened.

Not sure why they put it between the top two matches of the card.

Earlier on in the night Gunner told Shaw that Brittany has a thing for him, to which he replies “My mind is already occupied with someone else”.

Billy and Chuck, I’m telling you.

gunnerandshawandanderson

Gunner “injured” his knee, Shaw went crazy and got involved, accidently clothesline’d Gunner and Bram picked up the win.

Despite the crap story with Gunner and Shaw, Bram’s rise to the top is quite interesting. They keep pushing how good he is. And guess what, I believe it. Because he’s impressive, he wins, he fights, he doesn’t back down. Not like Malendez, who gets his ass kicked because he politely turned down being a lackey! Why would I like that!!!?

bluelineBobby Roode vs. Bobby Lashley – World Heavyweight Championship

I wonder if Lashley will be called Bobby again now?

Another thing that goes through my head is wondering what Roode was thinking when he decided to wear some crappy looking sex jacket to the ring.

His Robe was awesome. It worked. This looks terrible.

Something else that is pretty damn awesome, is Lashley’s new music. I’ve always liked it, but I enjoy how it just changes the mood. He feels like a force. I like that.

Which brings me to what I really, really don’t like.

Lashley rolls out the ring and MVP calls for a Time-Out, and the ref lets them have it. MVP and King wipe his face, and continue to get involved.

Lashley should not have these guys outside for him. He’s supposed to be this beast, he’s supposed to be unstoppable.

When you give him help, he looks weak. He shouldn’t be booked weak. You shouldn’t have his friends wiping his face! No!! That’s just No….Nooo!! NOOO!!

NooooooooooooFanHe’s even doing a Face-Palm… could it get any better!

Do you know what I do like, is the Roode Bomb. I enjoy the move, but I detest the name.

Utterly stupid name for a super cool move.

What makes it cooler is Roode using it to “Roode Bomb” Lashley right to the floor, and Credit to Lashley for taking it, literally right to the floor. Looked really painful, and also really cool!

In the end though Roode leap frogged Lashley’s attempted Spear and “injured” his leg, to which Lashley then speared him and won.

I don’t know quite where to place the match.

The match was really good! Really good! But it’s not so memorable. I also feel this isn’t done yet.

Which means!

predictwonnoface

I knew Lashley was going to win well before this match was going to take place, EY spoiled it in an interview I read. So technically the Prediction doesn’t count!

bluelineRight now, I’m in the mood for Bound for Glory.

I want a great PPV just like Slammiversary was.

Though with all the problems in TNA right now, the booking, change arounds, no matches are really being built for the Biggest show of the year, in Japan of all places. The only thing they are building is James Storm’s revolution.

Who knows.

Till then.

The Jobber Blogger #123 – TNA: IMPACT WRESTLING – 3/9/14

The Jobber BloggerJobber Blogger Birthday logo2One, Two, Three! It’s as easy as A,B,C for all of those Jackson 5 fans out there! On a side note, I keep seeing Michael Jacksons new album in stores…. I’m curious to buy it, I found his last few Albums to be of a lesser standard, given the odd occasional song. Perhaps he’s found more inspiration now… you know, being dead an all.

Wow, now that was dark to start off this weeks Jobber Blogger. But hey, it’s not that dark, it’s not like I’m wanted for murder and used it as a platform to taunt such actions. I just think its ridiculous to put out an album. Ah who cares.

What you should care about is that I have actually started The Jobber Blogger on Sunday! It is exaxctly 6:37pm! So I’m not late yet! Of course I need to write the entire thing, create all the stupid pictures and then go post it around everywhere on the internet for no body to read! UP YOURS NO BODY!

TNA: IMPACT WRESTLING – 3/9/14

Yes we’re in September! Holy bat fanny packs everybody, we’re sailing toward Christmas! I also have a strange feeling I’ve been doing this for two years or more now. I seem to have missed my Second Birthday! So lets Celebrate it today along with my Dad’s Birthday! Wooo!!!

If only we could celebrate TNA’s success!

MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley kicked off the show. It’s about damn time Lashley takes centre stage and actually is starting to feel important and significant as the World Champion. Which in an ironic way, this entire opening segment was the exact opposite of important and significant.

It’s a shame to see that Wrestling is still stuck in that territory of saying the blatantly obvious remarks.

MVP blabbed on about how no body is tougher than Lashley, and then out came Samoa Joe to tell Lashley “he’s not even the toughest one in the ring right now”.

Oooo big talk, and then a match was made, which could have been done without this fart of an opening.

The only positive was that in New York, Joe draws a huge reaction, so it was kind of cool. Just ridulously Childish.

Least they skipped the part where they shout about each others asses.

Taryn Terrell vs. Gail Kim – Knockouts Championship

I really don’t get the hype between these two. Their matches were good, this one was less good. Still good though.

The fact they made a video package for the match stating it to be the “toughest rivalry in knockouts history”. Really? Has it been the absolute toughest?

Because I seem to remember Taryn being a ref, Gail pushed her around, she got put on the roster, they had two matches, then she left. All of the above took around what, 1 and a half months? Then she came back for a couple of matches and now she’s this big deal that has a history no one else has. Meh.

Hot mess, no sense.

Tarynnosensearmpits

Although the Knockouts are fantastic and are capable of having awesome, awesome wrestling matches, things like doing a Neck-Breaker on the Steel Steps because they are women, seem to be the proving ground.

Quite honestly, I think Gail is capable of having much better matches, and she doesn’t need an opponent who will throw herself on the floor to prove how good she is. I get it, women taking big risks and doing big spots, you don’t see it often. But there is a style and a fenes that comes with the territory. Mickie James vs. Tara in the Cage, sure they did some big spots, but they performed on a level that was worthy of the main event, regardless of the Cage.

Bugs me is all.

Taryn then kicked out of Eat da Feet, which bugged me more.

Least she didn’t win. I don’t dislike her, I’m just not crazy about her either. She’s not ready to beat Gail for the Championship.

Though she might take the belt at Bound for Glory, which I think was the plan last year?

Then much to my surprise Skrillex showed up.

I actually bought Recess (his latest Album) his Music skills seem to have gone downhill now that he’s in TNA.

No, I’m joking. It wasn’t Skrillex, but it was Havok, who came out to some naff Dubstep tune, like an Undertaker Bane hybrid… also a woman.

She’s impressive, seems fairly capable. I don’t like her scream, I appreciate the different gimmick, I don’t think she pulls it off all that well though.

Time will tell, I’m often converted.

Robbie E and Jesse were competing last week via Tinder (the dating App) and both matched dates with some TNA Knockouts.

I honestly have no idea what the point was, at first I thought it was to maybe boost Tinder with some kind of Advertising deal with TNA….

Or a way to introduce Robbie E and Brooke Adams (Miss Tessmacher) who are dating apparently in real life.

But no, they matched with The Beautiful People and poor DJ Z pretended to be happy to be alone and annoying.

Meh

blueline

Gunner and Samuel Shaw vs. Magnus and Bram

This was quite nice, I do like Tag-Team Wrestling but both of these teams clearly are only together to build the seperate storylines.

Shaw apologised to Gunner for wearing his Jacket last week and that he just wanted to know what it was like to be a Hero, is it worth mentioning Brittany seemed to have taken a liking to him. I suppose they might attempt a weird stalker kind of pairing between these two. Might work?

What was more interesting to me was the Bram and Magnus situation. For those keen fans out there, you might have noticed this is the first time they’ve entered using Bram’s theme rather than Magnus’.

No doubt this plays on the idea that Bram is now a bigger star given his success against Abyss, and clearly Magnus’ fall from Grace after losing the World Championship to Eric Young.

Whereas I think it’s fairly obvious Bram and Magnus will battle each other at some point in the near future, possibly making Bram the bigger star. I’m not sure what direction Gunner and Shaw will go in.

Gunner “injured” his leg which led to the downfall of the match. Shaw then screamed in a protective way.

Yeah I know, it’s hard to really care about any of this.

It does show that TNA have pushed too many guys. Magnus was being prepped for the next big star, now he’s nothing. Gunner had a good push, now he’s gone again. It’s hard to see anyone as being really credible.

blueline

Eric Young vs. Bobby Roode – World Heavyweight Championship – Number #1 Contenders Match

I’m going to be honest, this match wasn’t as good as I thought it would be.

Sure it was “competative” but it was also fast paced. It felt like they were only given a short time slot and they had to make up for that. The match was fine, high impact, impressive, but it’s timing wasn’t there.

“What do I know”, well a lot, I’m a Wrestling fan, I watch the product, have done for years. You can tell when a match is perfectly paced and when one feels rushed. Unfortunately TNA do rush a lot of matches. Given that this match was the top match of the night, but didn’t draw the main event and was slotted half way through and so quick, it almost felt irrelevant despite what was on the line.

I feel like this might be worth a second watch, but when it’s just big move after big move, high impact after high impact you can tell they are trying to pull out all the stops, but they don’t have the time to let each move settle, each impact breathe.

Which is a shame, it seemed like a good match, good pairing, just a little rushed to fit in.

A good string of counter moves to close out the bout which ended with Roode dropped EY with the Roode Bomb for the Win.

Tigre Uno vs. Crazy Steve vs. Manik vs. DJ Z vs. Homicide vs. Low Ki – X-Division Championship – #1 Contenders Match

Yup, I’m slightly getting sick of this now.

I get it, the X-Division stars are great, now let them have time to shine indepedantly, what actually pisses me off is that Low Ki and Homicide are getting the entrances, getting the spot light. Sure, Low Ki is great, Homicide is alright, the only reason they are getting the push currently is because of this TNA History revial. Samoa Joe is the Champ, Low Ki vs. Joe, Homicide vs. Joe, it’s been done, people like it. More importantly the New York fans Like it, so they get it.

Now what annoys me is that Low Ki and Homicide aren’t actively back on the roster. So guys like Manik, DJ Z, Tigre Uno and yes even Crazy Steve, who in my opinion are better than Low Ki and Homicide in most areas, and all of them just better than Homicide full stop. Yet they get buried over TNA’s insisent push for ratings and atmoshpere.

Sure, you could call that good booking? But also, it’s terrible booking. You’re giving guys who will probably be gone again in no time the time to bury your regular superior talent, all for the sake of them getting a pop, then losing to your Champ.

Awesome.

Homicide won. Which was also obvious.

Low Ki got the last entrance, but Homicide got a full entrance, which just goes to show where they are in TNA’s minds. Again, it’s the crowd response that pulls them higher.

I’m sure it will boil down to Samoa Joe vs. Low Ki vs. Homicide. Now the only person who won’t win that match is Homicide. Low Ki might. Joe will most likely retain though.

Hey, it might not happen. I’m just guessing.

What is interesting though is that Storm and The Great Sanada came out to steal Manik at the end of the show, so he will be next for Storm’s “Revolution” so that’s cool. Maybe they will ditch the Manik gimmick and bring him back as TJ Perkins?

Austin Aries then hit the ring to moan about Storm and Sanada from last week, but it was all to introduce Tajiri.

Tajiri, now that’s a name that takes you back huh. Shame he always sucked. Now it’s 2014 and I’ve not seen a Wrestler look more out of shape.

Awesome, I’m so excited now.

Spud vs. Rhino

spudbadhair

Spud has raised his game for Bad hair cuts once more and EC3 has thrown him to the …. Rhino?

Before this match got set up they all wasted time in the ring earlier on in the night. Though interestingly EC3 had 3 demands after the actions of Bully Ray putting Dixie through a Table – Bully gets fired (which he is supposedly gone from the company, but working on a per appearence schedual), the words Hardcore and Extreme are never to be used in TNA again (let’s hope!) and he gets more respect.

So yeah, Bully getting fired could quite easily happen at the hands of EC3.

Spud is awesome! He recently spoke about how happy he was that TNA had the Chief of Staff idea, because he knew he wasn’t doing anything amazing with them, and his work wasn’t really shining. I expected him to be fired before long, but glad he was given the opportunity to do something different.

I’d say you will struggle to find anyone more entertaining than Spud right now in Wrestling, he knows what he’s doing and knows what to get the results he wants. Not only that, but people love it.

Clearly he wasn’t going to do much against Rhino and shortly suffered a Gore and a defeat. The big story was EC3 just leaving Spud in the ring. So that might build to something.

Hopefully they won’t try and turn Spud face, because it just wouldn’t work.

blueline

Samoa Joe vs. Bobby Lashley

I’m sure this match was put into place to build Lashley’s credibility as Champion. With him crossing over into MMA at the same time, they want to make sure he’s a force.

He’s defeated Eric Young, Jeff Hardy, Austin Aries and now Samoa Joe.

The issue at hand is that you can make an argument for Joe losing because of the interfernce from Kenny King. Perhaps they want Joe to be the big tough guy that can take down Lashley.

I really don’t think Joe should be that guy. But again, with the Crowd on his side, he has a certain drive in his actions, and it really shows.

I’m hoping Lashley has a long Championship run. Though I would like Storm to be on top as a top Heel, and with his “revolution” it could happen?

blueline

Impact was pretty packed this week again, I do wish they cut out some of the crap that isn’t needed to set up matches.

A lot of the time what they do in the ring could be done backstage in half the time. A lot of the time you don’t need any build up to set up a match.

Full sail ahead for next week’s show – The Hardyz vs. The Wolves vs. Team 3D – Tables Match.

I’m going to predict it, The Wolves win this match.

The Jobber Blogger #110 – TNA: IMPACT WRESTLING – 12/6/14

Jobber-Blogger-logo2

The Jobber Blogger

To think, 10 issues ago was issue 100. There’s some math to kick you in the knee caps! Or shins, if you happen to be a strange alien being at the mercy of one Captain Kirk’s instinctive kick to the groin… accidentally.

Well, that could potential be the most inappropriate way to start this, but hey, what could be better?

Yes TNA heads toward Slammiversary, live tonight actually in the US. But the question is, does their “go home” show deliver. I may have come across a little “negative” last week, and while this week’s show didn’t annoy me as much, I was very much so looking forward for it to end.

When did that happen? 1 hour and a half of Wrestling and I’m bored. The main event should be the thing you want more than anything, but yet, it was just the same old tired boring routine. On the plus side, the same old tired boring routine has had a little bit of a shake up! And yes, that’s good!

Impact Wrestling Logo

TNA: IMPACT WRESTLING – 12/6/14

Sadly, Impact did not kick off with a match, but a match wasn’t actually far behind. The TNA World Champion – Eric Young made his way to the ring (in Wrestling attire… a pretty good give away) and called out MVP.

A whole load of un-necessary garbage later the theme for the show was set. EY was going to war against MVP, Lashley and King, and should be able to win, he gets to pick the stipulation and have his “fair fight”.

Eric Young vs. Bobby Lashley

Believe it or not, but Lashley was the only one between he, MVP and Kenny King to be dressed to compete, it’s like they pre-planned this match?

Either way, this took me a little by surprise. Which is the best way to describe TNA’s main theme this week. See when it was set that EY needed to defeat MVP, Lashley and King, I therefore assumed it would be a handicap match. King again making orders (somehow) claimed EY couldn’t even defeat two of them, and so the challenge was set. Again, I expected this to be 2 on 1. But no, it was a gauntlet… with gaps. EY had to compete in three matches to get his fair fight, all of them spaced out throughout the show, which as it happens… seems fair. Too fair really.

It gets further confusing when Lashley makes quick work of EY, beats him down, injures his back, catches EY mid air and Powerslam’s him to the mat and picks up the win.

My instant reaction was, Awesome! EY got his ass kicked by big bad Bobby Lashley and now EY can’t name his stipulation. Nope.

Just because he lost, doesn’t mean he still can’t win. A stupid idea. Surely if MVP was that bent on having the advantage, it would be a handicap match. Should it not be that, giving a slight edge to EY, it should be that EY wasn’t able to actually lose. He lost, straight away. That should have been the end of it, and quite frankly something I wasn’t expecting. I was expecting an entire show where EY “defies the odds’!” phony injury and all. Still.

Lashley wasn’t done and Samoa Joe came to his aid, thus pitting Joe vs. Lashley at Slammiversary in a mid-card match no-one gives two craps about seeing.

facebook wrong

Now That’s Booking!

Magnus and Bram made their way to the ring. Bram looking pretty intense and awesome and Magnus looking like he has a hard time selling the idea of him being intense and awesome. He looked like a presentable version of Bram. I hope Magnus can pull off the gimmick, but right away he’s the less impressive guy in the ring, Magnus works being Magnus, Bram is a natural at playing this crazy intense violent dude. So Bram debuts as this “crazy intense violent dude” and I believe. TNA then tell me “Magnus is just as intense, crazy and violent” and I don’t believe it. Put them side by side, one is trying, one works. So the former World Heavyweight Champion – veteran – Magnus, now looks less legit than the new guy…..

good booking

Good Booking!

Magnus was given the same old crap speech to explain himself. I really don’t think he needed to, nobody really cares enough, and he’s playing a heel, it’s not like he’s changed, he just ditched looking smart for Bram’s clothes.

Magnus blabbed on about “they” changed him to who he was. Yet this entire “change” apparently only covers the few Months where he was Champion, not the how many years he was the exact same guy beforehand, only without a Championship and catchphrase.

Willow wobbled his way to the entrance ramp, and actually did an alright promo. Jeff sucks trying to be himself, he is charismatic in everything, but dialogue. So Jeff being even more awkward as Willow is just… awkward. Unless they edit it with snazzy effects and reverb, then it’s kind of cool. Jeff jumped between his two personalities, and I actually expected him to ditch the mask and return to being “Jeff Hardy” again, but instead he didn’t. He did however talk about “we”, which was quite good, I’d rather have Willow come out with a blow up doll dressed like Jeff to compete. Instead, Abyss turned up. Abyss obviously back with issues against Magnus, so now it starts to make a bit more sense.

He still looks sort of stupid though, and not at all intimidating like he used to.

Robbie E (w/ Jesse, DJ Z) vs. Knux (w/ The Menagerie)

The Menagerie is this weird blend of good ideas and poor execution, which is always TNA’s staple of work. For instance, the idea of The Menagerie is quite good. The Freak sucks. Crazy Steve is awesome, yet rather than being more awesome, he’s sort of more “comical” and that makes him child friendly in my eyes, rather than being creepy and dark. His look is creepy and dark, how he moves is creepy and dark, the way he snaps is neck around is awesome creepy and dark. But then he’s being stupid, and with the rest of them (namely The Freak who is also known as Walking Stupid) undermines Crazy Steve’s credibility and potential, I feel, at least.

I like having the music playing and crazy lights, but then it always puts the advantage to Knux, they used to do the same thing with the Bromans, so it would be better if it went back and forth a little.

The match was alright, but it has far too many moving parts and gimmicks on both sides for there to be anything to dig your teeth into and get to know anyone as “wrestlers” or characters.

Knux didn’t have too many problems in picking up the win, with multiple distractions on both sides. Crazy Steve then tied his balloons to the back of Robbie E’s trunks, so he freaked out and ran around stupidly. Kind of funny, I get the whole having “characters for everyone” but The Bromans, especially Robbie are very credible in the ring, it would be nice to see Robbie given the chance to be a bit more serious at times. Though Tigre Uno has recently said he’d like to Wrestle Crazy Steve, and implied that he’s very good in the ring, so I’m anxious to see him actually Wrestle.

Ethan Carter the third and Spud brought out “Brooke”. Or Miss Tessmacher, or Brooke Tessmacher, correctly called Brooke Adams. Can’t they just call her that now?

It was awesome to see Brooke back, she’s one of my favourites, aside from the whole “sexualised gyrating move set she does”.

Despite the fact Brooke turned heel very quickly, ditched the fans, got a new persona… got written off of tv for months and months, she’s now back and a face. But whatever, Wrestling, get it.

EC3 was hoping to learn some dark secrets about Bully Ray, but the whole segment got vastly better when Spud took charge.

Spud who put the spot light on Brooke and removed an envelope with evidence that Brooke’s child is indeed Bully’s. Obviously, entirely incorrect information, but highly entertaining. Including everyone’s favourite – the Titan Tron pictures. With a side by side of Bully and some random Baby.

More Spud.

Bully came out to Brooke’s aid, with a horrible, horrible idea of Bully apologising to Brooke and telling her how awesome she is, including a Hug. We don’t need to see that. We all know Bully is married outside of Wrestling, the whole Aces and Eights thing was a good idea, he ditched Brooke when he lost the belt, he’s a bad guy. Now he’s a softy good guy, it’s almost difficult to watch.

EC3 then challenged Bully to a Tables match, which was then one upped by Bully to a Texas Death-match.

Okay, theory time.

Bully Ray is on Dixie Carter’s side. They needed a way to eliminate MVP and the control he has, the best way to do that is give him the power, with Dixie being entirely sure MVP was just as corrupt. And he was. Bully was thrown in the mix to “fool” people, just like The Aces and Eights. Only this time, perhaps more clever?

So my guess is in the end Bully won’t put Dixie through a table, because they are aligned, and always have been. Perhaps even with Bully getting back the World Championship. As far as EC3 and Spud are concerned, Dixie clearly has no issues with throwing them to the hands of Bully just to get her company back and prove a point. That’s my theory. Bully is being “too good”.

suspicious bully

Eric Young vs. Kenny King

This was the match of the night, King is a fantastic talent, and I love the current position he is in. Against EY, they both put on a great match, and The Royal Flush – King’s special move, is awesome!

Though a little annoying he just then spent time showing off rather than pinning EY, a clear sign we know how the match is going to play out.

EY then hit the Pile-Driver on King and I cringed, again. You could see King move his head up a little too early, but I don’t blame him one second. The whole move is just bad. I don’t know why they are continuing it. I guess if all parties are happy to do it, fair enough. But it’s almost like “the pile driver will set us apart from the competition”. There’s a pretty damn good reason why they don’t use that move, and I wish TNA would be the same.

Brittany vs. Madison Rayne vs. Gail Kim – #1 Contendership – Knockouts Title

It’s a little annoying that these number one contender matches need to take place, and usually do just before a PPV. The Knockouts have some interesting stories going on currently, can’t they work them into a Title match without having the randomly win an opportunity.

Brittany spent the first part of match copying Madison, and also doing her best to help her in a 2 on 1 type of situation.

Angelina and Velvet crashed the match to join commentary which led to a great little line from Tenay “right in the midst of this three way…… excuse me”.

Madison obviously got more annoyed with Brittany and in the end hit her. Angelina and Velvet made their way to the ring to try and help Brittany win but instead assisted Gail Kim who dropped Brittany with “eat defeat” and is now the Number One Contender.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Brittany joins The Beautiful People, only for them to abuse her and beat up or something. Also remember Taryn Terrell is expected back, would be pretty neat if she were to join up with The Beautiful People too. Not to mention the Von Erich’s are coming to Slammiversary, so perhaps a possible reunion with Lacey isn’t out of the question either.

MVP vs. Eric Young

Yes the main event is here, and it’s the very same main event they were planning for Slammiversary. And it was boring.

Lashley and King beat down EY before he got in the ring, MVP power-bombed EY into the Corner Turnbuckle which looked very, very dangerous how he landed.

In the end MVP just got a Chair and beat up EY getting himself disqualified and thus giving EY a victory so he can pick the stipulation. MVP’s plan of course was just to beat down on EY, which makes sense I suppose.

EY chooses a cage match. And thankfully MVP injured himself recently on a house show and cannot compete tonight, so the match has since been changed, which actually makes the card much more exciting.

So rather than having EY vs. MVP in a Cage for the World Championship, EY will instead face the Winner’s of the Bobby Lashley vs. Samoa Joe and Kenny King vs. Austin Aries matches in a Triple-Threat Cage Match for the Main Event. So well done, the main event is now a little more exciting, and two randomly booked mid card matches (aside from King and Aries to be fair, should be awesome) are now much more interesting.

Speaking of Slammiversary!

Willow (/Abyss) vs. Magnus (w/Bram)

Angelina Love vs. Gail Kim – Knockouts Championship

Bully Ray vs. EC3 – Texas Death Match

Bobby Lashley vs. Samoa Joe – Number One Contender – Main Event

Kenny King vs. Austin Aries – Number One Contender – Main Event

James Storm vs. Mr. Anderson

EY – vs. winners – Triple Threat – Steel Cage- World Heavyweight Championship

Plus the Von Erich’s, plus the TNA Hall of Fame inductee 2014.

Should be a good night, I aim to have my Write up for Wednesday!

Till then!
